In-ear HiFi earphones with a dynamic driver

iBasso IT05 are in-ear headphones from the “In Tune” line, they are based on a proprietary dynamic transducer that guarantees sensational sound quality. The model is also distinguished by metal housings with elegant front panels and two high-quality cables with 3.5 mm (single-ended) and 4.4 mm (balanced) plug with characteristic housings that are included in the set.

Proprietary 11mm dynamic driver

The iBasso R&D team for the IT05 model has developed a new dynamic transducer, which is a unique solution. It is characterized by a diaphragm with a diameter of 11 mm made of nanomaterial, which is covered with chrome. This material is characterized by extremely high stiffness, which translates into well-extended and detailed highs.

The use of an advanced sputtering process resulted in a coating of only 0.007 mm. Thanks to this, the diaphragm is characterized by good flexibility, which guarantees low-reaching and strong bass and full sound. The appropriate shape of the dome allows better control of the cone’s movement, and a special metal ring suppresses split vibrations, which improves the clarity of the sound.

Double Helmholtz resonator for IT05

The new diaphragm is not the only element that guarantees great sound quality from the IT05. iBasso has used a double Helmholtz resonator, a special acoustic structure that provides better texture, bass extension, and at the same time absorbs high-frequency standing waves, making the sound smooth and natural.

The transducer housing is additionally made of two materials – brass and stainless steel. The former has a higher density, which translates into less resonance and less distortion. Stainless steel has great acoustic properties, which guarantees detailed and airy highs. The combination of both materials allows you to achieve a natural, but technically great sound.

1.6T magnetic system in IT05

iBasso IT05 has a magnet with a magnetic field belonging to as much as 1.6 T. This guarantees perfect control of the movement of the stiff and thin diaphragm, which translates into a clear bass impact, sensational dynamics, and fast transients.

 

Two headphone cables included

iBasso IT05 is not only a unique transducer. The company adds not one, but two headphone cables to the set:

• 4-conductor high purity oxygen-free copper with a 3.5mm (single-ended) plug that has an elegant black braid;

• 8-conductor, hybrid with 4 conductors of OCC copper with a purity of up to 6N in black insulation and 4 conductors of silver-plated OCC 6N copper in transparent insulation with a 4.4 mm plug (balanced).

Both cables have distinctive plug covers. This is iBasso’s original solution, which was made of stainless steel.

Great build quality and stylish look

iBasso IT05 has housings made of resistant but lightweight metal in the process of precision machine punching (CNC). The domes are additionally ergonomically profiled, thanks to which they rest comfortably in the ears and can be listened to for many hours. IT05 also attract attention with characteristic front panels that add charm to them.
